As an early member of the Digital Transformation team, I designed many foundational features and products, including the augmented shopping experience. I also led Mohawk's initial B2C, working on the Mohawk Factory Outlet where you can search and browse thousands of flooring options.
Mohawk Factory Outlet was an outdated website mainly comprised of low-cost, budget-friendly flooring. The goal was to improve the customer experience, by driving engagement with our flooring visualizer tool, and ultimately increase sales of their flooring products.

We used Google Analytics to funnel our target customers and learn about their motivations, frustrations, and needs, we were able to gain user insights.
Customers renovating an existing home with new flooring.
• These customers have either previously owned or are renovating a home.
• They skew DIY and care about cost rather than material.
Between the user feedback and ML recommendations, we were able to lead stakeholders in the direction of redesigning the Pergo Factory Outlet experience for customers in the market for flooring.
The augmented shopping experience is still prevalent on all branded sites, with the ML used as a *magic recommendation* on the product catalog.

The opportunity to work end to end on this project was rewarding as it was challenging. I value everyone that I worked with and hope for the best for the project!
Mohawk continues to use many of my designs and strategies on Mohawk Flooring and other Mohawk branded sites.
